Second Block of Assignments

Leading to the Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services

The second block of assignments will also again involve you being marked as competent on a number of written and practical assessments. This is the final stage of the Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services.

Those who enroll in this option must be able to conduct both puppy and adult training classes and provide private instruction to clients – this is a big commitment and requires a great deal of planning so those who have attended the workshop have a month to decide whether they wish to continue.

Students in this block will retain membership of the chat group and further web conferencing will be provided, along with an additional disk of notes.

This part of the course requires a substantial input on your part and a great deal of planning.

You will complete the following assignments:
  • Dog first aid theory
  • Lesson plans
  • OH & S in training classes
  • a Husbandry Portfolio for their training classes
  • Management of training classes
  • Private consultation case studies
  • Professional Practices
You will also be required to submit videos of classes you conduct to allow us to assess your practical skills and a further video to assess your ability to fit and use training equipment.

How much will the second block of assignments cost?
The cost for the second block of assignments is $775. This amount must be paid upfront on enrolment in this segment. You should note this fee and may be tax deductible and does not attract GST.

What happens next?
Once payment is made you will receive the final set of notes on disc plus an assignment tracker which details what assignments are due. You will be provided with the same level of support as was provided with the first block of assignments.
