Therapy Dog & Paws the Pressure Visits have been suspended due to COVID-19.
In light of the current public health situation developing around COVID-19, Delta Therapy Dogs has been monitoring the situation by listening carefully to recommendations from health departments, experts, and government agencies.
The safety and well being of the community which we serve and our dedicated teams is our highest priority. We have been in contact with our staff, volunteers, facilities, and organisations who we visit with our special Delta Therapy Dog teams and have made a decision to temporarily suspend all regular visits to facilities.
We’ll be monitoring the situation closely and regularly, and listening to advice from the Australian Government Department of Health for when it is appropriate to resume visiting. We encourage all of our Delta Therapy Dog teams to continue monitor their local situation and personal needs carefully; including following instructions from health organisations and professionals to remain alert and practice meticulous hygiene for both themselves and their beloved companion pets.
It is important for us here at Delta Therapy Dogs during these challenging times to keep our lines of communication open and support our community as we we continue our mission to bring joy to the lives of Australians through the power of Delta Therapy Dogs.
